On seeing this number-001, I for a moment thought that I was in Chandigarh, India, where people are extremely fond of single digit numbers which are called the ‘VIP numbers’ or the ‘vanity numbers’. These numbers are auctioned by governments licensing authorities in Chandigah, Punjab and Haryana and fetch a high amount for the government.
