“Champs Elysees, Paris” by K.J.S.Chatrath

This is the Champs Elysees.

Let’s  go then, you and I,  for a walk on the most romantic and most fashionable street in the world – the Champs Elysees in Paris.

Champs Elysees Avenue in Paris is 1.91 km long and  starts  from the Place de la Concorde in the east,  to the Place Charles De Gaulle (formerly the  Place de l’Etoile) in the west, up to  the  Arc de Triomphe.

Arc de Triomphe

There is traffic on this road and pedestrians on the side walks all the twenty four hours of the day.

One of the most famous night clubs of the world- the Lido is located here.

The Lido

It is said to be one of the costliest real estate areas anywhere in the world. And what an address!

And what an address!

I took these photographs at about 10.30 am on an early September morning.  Yes, it was kind of early for a coffee in one of the lovely side walk cafes.
